Susuko Rin Tayo Sa Diyos

Maraming mga tao ang hindi nagtatagumpay even if they have all the elements to succeed. They have good education, background, connection, talent and skills but are not successful because they do not respond to God's call. You can never win against God. And his calling and gifts are
irrevocable. " " Magbi - visitation ako Lord for your glory.
dating ang mga  dagok sa buhay natin because the Lord is Calling our attention.
Proverbs 29:1 A man who remain stiff necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed -- without remedy. God is not mocked. God is Sovereign. They want the easy way out. They prefer the ministry of sitting, the ministry of listening, and the ministry of criticizing, which is not a vocation but destruction.

2 Thessalonians 1:11 " With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act
prompted by your faith. " We are all called  to godly vocation. O kaya'y once - upon - a - time Binibining
O kaya'y pagkagaling - galing ninyong architect? O pagkagaling - galing mo sa merchandizing at selling ? Irrelevant lahat yan dahil ano ang paguusapan doon? Paano natin kinareer ang ating godly vocation.
Tayong mga Christians ay mayroong superficial vocation - ang ating earthly career, our earthly studies and profession. But above and beyond that, we have real vocation which God himself has set
for us. Most unhappiness and dissatisfaction concerning a Christian's vocation is not really about his earthly vocation but on the vocation that God has called him to do. The vocation which is probably being neglected or forgotten. In 2 Timothy 1:9 " God has saved us and called us to a holy life. " In other words, our vocation is holiness. Inside every Christian's heart is a God - sized vacuum that only God can fill. And unless that is filled, we will keep on chasing after the wind. No matter how succesful we become, there will always be emptiness. Christians, our number one vocation is holy living no matter what our profession is. In Hebrew 3:1 " Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess. " God calls us to fix our thoughts on Jesus. The moment our thoughts get fixed on other things - on materialism, lust, selfishness, worldliness - we miss the joy of our true vocation even if we indulge in the pleasure of the world.
Romans 12:6-8 " We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve, if it is teaching, let him teach, if it is encouraging, let him encourage, if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously, if it is leadership, let him govern diligently, if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully. " The Lord has given us lots of vocation to choose from. We do not always have to do them all but we are at least called to be envolved in one. Prophesying or declaring the wonderful works of the Lord through preaching. Serving the Lord and his people through the church. Teaching the truths of God. Encouraging people by being an encouragement. Contributing is a vocation  . Leadership is another vocation. Being merciful is another vocation. Marami and unemployed by earthly standards. But the Lord continues to employ us in the vocations that he has really called us to do. There is a lot to choose from. What is your calling? What is your gift. Are you neglecting it? If you are neglecting your gift and your calling, even though you are in a very sophisticated and a very high paying job, you are still in wrong place. No amout of success in eartly vocations can compensate for failure in your divine devotion and vocation. And we cannot should not escape our godly vocation. Romans 11:29 " God's gift and his call are irrevocable.
It is possible that our unhappiness or failure in our eartly vocation stems from ndglecting and forgetting our divine vocation. Jesus is Lord. You may try to escape from his calling, you may try to escape from the vocation that he gives you, but you will never succeed. You will only succed to be more and more miserable.
How about you? your in the straight path or your own miserable path?
